The ElectionIn 1929, Herbert Hoover was elected as the president of the United States. After serving his term, he was greatly disliked, and it was a general consensus that his action did more to hurt the country in its hard times rather than help. So in 1932, Franklin D. Roosevelt was elected, and his actions through to 1945 helped solve both the Great Depression.
